Ceramic Artist, Public Artist & Instructor
This is going to be a great stop since there is such a variety of different types of ceramics by so many different artists. There are a lot of talented students there—I know because I teach here!
I enjoy Katie’s southwest style. I especially like the altars and wall pieces.
I love Nina’s sculptures. Her style very much appeals to me. It’s definitely my taste—light-hearted goth.
I am a ceramicist and street artist from Philadelphia, PA. Now based in Austin, TX, I create handmade porcelain tiles of local artists and musicians.
I like how clean their work is. Their clean lines are beautiful and their choice of colors is great.
I really like her larger work and how she combines different styles. She’s really pushing the limits of handles.
They are using a kintsugi technique (gold seams) that not everyone is familiar with. It’s a nice way to revive a piece of ceramic. As a ceramics teacher, I’ve watched a lot of pots break, so I appreciate seeing them revived.
