I’ve been collecting her jewelry since she started. One of my favorite things was when she made the “change” stamped necklaces during the Obama campaign. It brought on the best conversations. Her work is magic, it’s so whimsical. I love the way she’s evolved over the years, which is hard for an artist to do. Every year she comes up with new things.
View rotating exhibitions curated by Talitha Newman in this quaint and cozy gallery. Located right next to Blackfeather Vintage, the shared courtyard makes it easy to flow from one space to the other.
RichesArt Gallery is our neighbor on the east side and I’m so excited about the energy that they are bringing. People always recommend their events. We need more of the inclusiveness that they represent.
I love her stuff. She’ll take an old piece of jewelry and rework it. She has a beautiful way of using precious stones and metals organically but also incorporating a lot of structure. I just love her work. She’s so warm and welcoming.
She makes art to process—art that stirs emotion. For me, art is supposed to move you. It’s about what is coming up for each viewer just as much as it is the artists’ individual experience when they create.
