Women & Their Work is a nonprofit arts organization located in Austin that serves as a catalyst for contemporary art created by women living and working in Texas and beyond. For 47 years, Women & Their Work has brought groundbreaking art to Austin, with exhibitions, performances, and educational programs.
Established in 2019, The UpFront Gallery sits inside Creative Action and is a dedicated space for emerging local artists to show their work. UpFront Gallery is a unique and innovative space, run by young and emerging artists and mission driven to support creatives under 30 in Central Texas.
The Cathedral was created to provide an inspiring space to work and gather. We are a gorgeous 1930’s refurbished church that serves as a boutique event venue, art gallery, and co-working space. We are a nonprofit art space in East Austin that provides artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities the materials, space, and support to produce, exhibit and sell their artwork. Our mission is to nurture and amplify the voices of artists with disabilities, so that they may meaningfully engage with the social, economic and creative life of the community.
