I am an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections and tensions between cultural identities, informed by my background in both science and art. Working across digital media, sculpture, installation, film and painting, I create alternative perspectives on belonging and identity. My work has been exhibited in Austin, San Antonio, Shanghai and Chengdu, and she is a 2024 participant in the NYFA Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program in San Antonio.

What TO expect

Step into my backyard studio to explore a vibrant mix of pastel and acrylic paintings plus select sculptures. My work blends childlike graffiti, playful shapes and bright colors with familiar objects, houses, trees, figures and toys, forming whimsical yet thoughtful portraits of belonging and displacement. Enjoy light snacks, music and conversation while experiencing art that transforms feelings of being out of place into colorful, psychological habitats.
