I work across a variety of mediums, choosing each one based on the subject matter and the emotion I want to convey. Much of my work begins as intricate, hand-drawn illustrations using micropens on paper or wood. These drawings are then carefully cut out with an X-Acto knife and layered onto a second surface; I often blend these detailed elements with imagined botanical forms, creating whimsical, otherworldly scenes. My pieces explore the intersection of life and death—existing side by side, in quiet harmony.
