As a mixed media artist and live painter, my art is often inspired by local Austin bands and DJs. The majority of my paintings are created or initiated in a live setting where I can share my process with the audience and draw direct inspiration from the energy of the music. I seek to synesthetically interpret my surroundings into visual information, creating a lasting connection to an otherwise ephemeral experience.
