I have studied with nationally know artists and I paint in oil and gouache. I paint mostly landscapes en plein air and in studio. I try to capture a unique moment in time to convey my message to the viewer. This is usually done by sketching, taking color notes and lots of reference pictures. I want my viewers to feel what I felt when I gathered the information for that unique painting experience.
