I’m a landscape painter based in Austin with a passion for desert’s panoramic views. Purple mountains, blue skies and native plants have long defined my artistic vision. While oil was once my primary medium, I transitioned to acrylic for its versatility and mobility, allowing me to capture the spirit of the landscape directly on site, where inspiration first strikes. I’m drawn to the “stillness and serene embrace” of the desert, and I creates visual records of desert landscapes in the places that need to be remembered and protected. They’re iconic images of places I’ve been, rich in stories.
