Native American Cultural Center

Design
The Native American Cultural Center shares Indigenous skills and crafts with Indigenous adults and youth at free weekly workshops. Some of these skills include: weaving, sewing, such as ribbon dresses and powwow regalia, beading, jewelry-making using traditional materials and even dancing. It’s not just a place to learn a craft though, it’s a place of fellowship for Austin’s Indigenous community, where we share our many different cultures, customs and knowledge to establish a strong foundation for our community.

What TO expect

Come visit us at Austin’s new Native American Cultural Center as we exhibit modern and traditional works of Native American and Indigenous artists from across the Americas in our first ever Austin Studio Tour event. You will see: modern works, demonstrations of traditional crafts, crafts for children and you can buy and talk to the many creators and learn about the many different cultures and traditions that they come from, in a first of it’s kind cross cultural event in Austin. It’s not all about turquoise and silver. Come meet and experience Austin’s real Indigenous creative community.
