Born in the UK, I worked for some years in photographic film and imaging research in the UK and developed there my basic understanding and appreciation of the craft and art of photography. Moving to Austin some 25+ years ago, photography remained an interest, but one that I have focused on only seriously in the last few years, thanks to retirement. In terms of subjects, West Texas and New Mexico remain fascinating and wonderfully rich sources of inspiration and images for me, while the broader US West and the UK are areas I am looking to spend more time exploring.
