The Museum of Collectibles & Curiosities was established in 2015, also our first year to participate in the Austin Studio Tour. The Museum contains the artwork and collections of native Austinite Patricia Duncan Brown. She studied art at UT and graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art with top honors. Creative and discerning, Pat devoted herself fully to both her art and to collecting. She began collecting as a child. One case in our museum displays a selection of Pat’s artworks and supplies. The rest of the museum is devoted to curated examples from her many whimsical collections.
