Now an Austinite, my early creative years were spent in NYC playing rock music, and now I consider my paintings to be my songs. The obsessive repetition of anatomical hearts in my work began 12 years ago after the loss of my son. I am self-taught with influences ranging from street art to African mythology. When not painting I’m hanging with my 3 cats, 2 goats, 2 donkeys and husband Adam.
