I am a figurative artist who creates portraits using hand-stitched thread. My stitchwork is daring and playful, going far beyond everyday conceptions of what embroidery looks like. I am influenced by the colors of West Texas, the desert landscape where I was born and raised, to tell stories from my life and those of the women I’ve met.
