My work is an observation and exploration of form and figure as a touchpoint for emotion and movement on canvas. I paint with expression first and form second, using classical techniques to ground vibrant and emotive concepts in 2D space. The main subjects of my pieces are figures and portraiture, both animal and human, real and fantastical.
