My artistic journey has been a slow, winding path—one that has only recently led me to embrace the title of artist. Each piece is part of an ongoing discovery of both myself and the language of my work. I am drawn to the interplay of realism and abstraction: abstraction allows me to quiet the outside world and give form to the life within, while realism anchors me in the subtle, infinite details of our existence. Lately, I’ve found myself enchanted by the resilience and beauty of Central Texas native plants, which have become the heart of my current explorations.
