I am an oil painter with a BFA from Texas State University, exploring the Contemporary West through realism and expression. My work unfolds in two bodies: vibrant dancehall scenes alive with neon color, blurred gestures and rhythm, and high-contrast portraits of horses and cowgirls, luminous against deep black grounds. Photography serves as inspiration and reference, grounding my vision in lived experience while capturing stories of resilience, heritage and intimacy.
