Austin born and raised, my memories of childhood afternoon art classes in the same neighborhood I live in today established an early curiosity of place, local wildlife and artmaking. My oil paintings tap into a rich tradition of storytelling, where nature has always served as a canvas for our deepest narratives. By combining wildlife with fanciful flora, I build an ecosystem that draws upon mythology, ecological and cultural themes.
