I paint construction sites, infrastructure and human patterns from above, exploring this moment by painting large scale aspects of our built environment. I am also on a side-quest, sculpturally describing femininity and motherhood using a variety of materials including up-cycled remnants of family life. The resulting work: a game you can play called “sperm-hole,” a soft cage for motherhood and a series of flower-creature chimera, playing on themes in the horror genre relating to sex and female genitalia. Children who can handle cussing and loud talk about gender issues are welcome.
