Painting
I’m an oil painter based in Austin, Texas. My work is shaped by a fascination with Americana and consumerism, exploring late-stage capitalism and personal relationships through a Chinese American lens. My paintings are known for vivid color and hand-painted text, echoing the charm of vintage ads. This familiar style draws viewers in before revealing something deeper—sharp reflections on identity, society, and the stories we carry.
