I create functional pottery with an emphasis on surface decoration and color exploration. I LOVE COLOR! The initial forms are made using the technique of slip casting porcelain in molds created by me or through hand building with slab construction and press molds. Once constructed and bisque fired, each piece is sanded, meticulously hand painted, and layered with decals to create a unique piece of illustrated clay. The final pieces are then fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln.
