I’m an emerging artist who finds joy in beautiful colors, pleasing shapes, intricate details and chocolate cake. While I also work with ceramics, photography and textiles, my primary medium is paint. I make “triangle paintings” using a computer program that I wrote to help me fragment and weave different images together into a triangular grid. I then translate the digital output by using it as reference for what I put onto the canvas. The process of creating these allows me to explore color, texture, symbolism, portraiture and narrative.
