My work usually takes the form of landscapes, revealing a deep connection to nature and humanity’s place within it. I explore the literal and the imaginary, and like to evoke reflection and contemplation. I draw inspiration from the early American landscape painters and the ephemeral moments they captured. Ultimately, I aim to create images that the viewer can bring their own interpretation to and enjoy.
