I paint in acrylics, mostly landscapes as well as abstract forms inspired by nature. I use bright colors and the drama of light and shadow to create evocative scenes that resonate with the viewer. After thirty-plus years soaking up Austin’s energy, I find endless inspiration in the textures and tones of Texas. Before diving into art full-time, I worked as a mechanical engineer for over three decades. Now, ten years into my second act, I’ve moved beyond precision to the loose, flowing, outside-the-lines, expressive medium of paint.
