I am a ceramic artist creating functional wheel thrown pottery, hyper-realistic ceramic sculptures, and teaching pottery classes in Austin. Having worked in clay for 12 years, I have traveled across the country to work in a variety of studios learning different methods of firing, surface decoration and building my skills both on and off the wheel. My pottery line, Stay Unstill Ceramics, focuses on creating pottery with a purpose: pots and tools specially made to meet the needs of a specific task or meal. My current sculptural installation references my time working in disaster relief.
