I’m Laura Lynn Johnson, an artist based in Austin, Texas. I hold a BA in Studio Art from UT Austin. I work out of Thornton Road Studios in South Austin and have curated shows including In Between and Women of West go East. I also helped found Cloud Tree Studios and Gallery. My art reflects personal travels and a love of birds, gardening, botanicals, landscapes and sometimes figurative work. A 5th-generation Austinite, I specialize in watercolor or tempera on paper, inspired by overlooked South Texas Ranchlands and the Rio Grande.
