Carol Aaron’s art explores anxiety, loneliness and nature through collage and photo transfer. She uses encaustic medium on cradled birch with pigments, collage elements and photo transfers to create layered, textured works. Visitors to her studio during Austin Studio Tours will see large collaged paintings and smaller photo encaustics featuring bulls and longhorns.
