Plein Air Austin
Plein Air Austin is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established in 2003 by a group of seven Austin women artists, who simply wanted to paint together. The term “en plein air” is french, for painting in the fine arts tradition of creating original works of art outdoors from direct observation. We currently have over 50 member artists, both professional and non professional painters, from every walk of life, working in every painting medium.
