Performance
This will be our 12th year participating in the Austin Studio Tour. We are Austin ISD’s first elementary school dedicated to the fine arts. We will transform our school into a student art gallery where our students will perform their musical instruments, dance routines and the drama club will perform Shakespeare. We will also host a Trashion (Fashion) Show, and a Silent Auction. All funds raised from this event will remain at our school.

Stop by Blackshear Elementary, Austin ISD’s first elementary school dedicated to the Fine Arts, for a FREE, kid-friendly Austin Studio Tour stop! This is our 12th Annual Little EAST featuring student artwork & performances, an interactive art installation, fashion makerspace and Trashion (fashion) Show, a bake sale, crafts, screen printing demo, silent auction and more. The Blackshear Yellow Jackets want you to come and see what the buzz is all about! Did we mention this is the kick off to our 135th Anniversary?! We’re Austin’s oldest operating elementary school.
